RESPECT

A fundamental positive attitude extended by choice

to people and things with an acknowledgment

of their inherent rights, needs, and worth.

Basic Information on the Club's beginning

The principal of respect is one which began something in the town of Clifton Park, at Shenendehowa High School. The idea and the hope it can bring about the formation of a new group to American schools. A RESPECT Club. The mission of the club is to foster respect, their original definition of the word is above. The Club also works to promote differences, to make everyone feel special for their uniqueness. But a central idea in the club is to find ways to foster "unity within diversity." These goals are reached on every scale, in terms of one single student, or in terms of an entire student body.
